Employment & Economic Empowerment

We support employment and economic empowerment through job readiness programs, resume workshops, and career counseling. Our initiatives include skills development, vocational training, and entrepreneurship support. We also create networking opportunities with employers and local business communities to help individuals thrive.

Homelessness & Housing Support

We provide transitional housing assistance and connect individuals with shelter resources. Our programs also focus on affordable housing advocacy and educating tenants about their rights. To promote long-term stability, we offer financial literacy programs tailored to housing needs.

Mental Health & Trauma Support

We offer culturally sensitive counseling services that address both pre- and post-migration trauma. Our support includes group sessions, wellness workshops, and mental health awareness programs. We also provide crisis intervention and collaborate with healthcare partners to ensure holistic care.

Language & Cultural Integration

We offer English, Dinka, Arabic and Swahili language classes specifically designed for Korok immigrants adjusting to life in Canada. Our cultural orientation sessions help newcomers navigate Canadian society with confidence. Intergenerational programs also foster connection and understanding between youth and elders within the community.

Immigration & Legal Support

We provide legal aid referrals for immigration, asylum, and residency applications. Our workshops educate newcomers on Canadian immigration policies and their rights. We also assist with documentation and connect individuals to trusted legal resources.

Community Engagement & Partnerships

We collaborate with government agencies, businesses, schools, and community groups to offer holistic support. Our partnerships help expand resources and opportunities for the Korok community across Canada. We also engage in policy advocacy to drive meaningful, long-term systemic change.
